Dwayne Britton is probably best known for his eponymous debut album -- a nostalgic collection of acoustic covers -- which garnered critical acclaim and international airplay (link to reviews here). Dwayne attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, a recipient of the prestigious John Raitt Musical Theatre Scholarship. After graduating, Dwayne became The Walt Disney Company’s first “Young Hercules,” singing as the cartooned role (and himself) at The Disneyland Resort and in special events in the US and Canada. He has performed his acclaimed one-man acoustic set at The Jazz Bakery and MBAR in Los Angeles, at the Duplex in New York City, and has performed internationally in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and all over the Mediterranean, Baltic and Caribbean for various cruise lines as a guest vocalist. He has studied with theatre legends Donna McKechnie, Calvin Remsberg and John Raitt and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association (AEA), and The American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA). Dwayne currently resides in Miami and is currently crafting his sophomore EP.
